1.1 What does 3 Digital access mean?

3 digital access means you will have access to 3 digital replicas of the print version of The Edge Malaysia that can be viewed on your:

  • desktop/laptop (Mac and Windows)
  • tablet (Android and iOS)
  • smartphone (Android and iOS).

You may choose to utilise the 3 digital access in any combination within the 3 platforms mentioned above, example:

  • 2 desktop + 1 tablet
  • 3 Tablets + 1 Tablet
  • 2 Desktop + 1 Smartphone
  • 1 Desktop + 1 Tablet + 1 smartphone…etc

Note:

  • Desktop reading is web based, i.e. it would be direct streaming & you would need internet connection to read issues. However, you can download and store the issues using iOS or Android devices and read offline.

1.2 When will the print version of The Edge Malaysia be delivered?

For home addresses within Klang Valley, the print version of The Edge Malaysia will be delivered on Saturday or Sunday depending on the location. Where the address is an office within Klang Valley, the delivery will be made on Mondays.

If your delivery address is outside Klang Valley, please contact our Customer Service Hotline – email: hotline@bizedge.com or call (603) 7721 8052/8037/8050 for the delivery schedule.

1.3 Are there any delivery charges for the print version of the The Edge Malaysia?

We provide FREE delivery of the print version of The Edge Malaysia to all subscribers within the Klang Valley.

If your delivery address is outside Klang Valley, delivery charges will apply. Please visit subscribe.theedgemalaysia.com and click on "Rates for other locations" under the package you are interested in to find more details about delivery charges to your location.

1.4 When will the digital version be available for download?

New issues for each title will be available for download as per the schedule below

1.5 How do I subscribe to The Edge Malaysia packages?

To subscribe:

You can make payment for your subscription through one of the following methods:

  1. By credit card or Bank Transfer
    When you subscribe via subscribe.theedgemalaysia.com, you will be automatically transferred to our secure payment gateway (iPay88) to proceed with payment either by credit card, bank transfer or cheque.

    For payment via cheque, upon registering and placing an order, please deposit the cheque to our account with the following details:

    Account Name: The Edge Communications Sdn Bhd
    Current Account No.: 3-0792534-18
    Bank Name: Public Bank Berhad

    After banking in the cheque to our bank account, please email hotline@bizedge.com the deposit slip (with copy of cheque) together with the email you had received when your performed the subscription at our portal (with your order number)

  2. By Direct Credit
    Deposit Cash/Cheque direct to our account with the following details:

    Account Name: The Edge Communications Sdn Bhd
    Current Account No.: 3-0792534-18
    Bank Name: Public Bank Berhad

    Please email hotline@bizedge.com a copy of the deposit slip and cheque together with the manual subscription form.

1.7 Do you have any promotions with any credit cards?

No, we don't have promotions with any credit cards at the moment

1.8 When will my subscription commence?

Print Version

Please allow 2 weeks after receipt of your subscription form and payment for delivery to commence

Digital Version

You will be able to access the digital versions once you have successfully created and activated your Login ID and Password. We will send you an email with a link to activate your account after you have activated your Login ID and Password.

1.9 Can I subscribe for only the print version of The Edge Malaysia?

The digital version of The Edge Malaysia is part of all our subscription packages. We dont have a print only package at the moment.

1.10 Can I subscribe for only the digital version of The Edge Malaysia?

We offer an all-digital subscription package:

  • The Edge Singapore (1 digital access)

1.11 Is The Edge Malaysia app a universal app?

Yes, you can download the same app for both smartphone and tablet devices

2.1 I am currently a subscriber to The Edge Malaysia print version. What will happen to my current subscription if I were to subscribe to the new packages?

You can add on a new subscription to your existing account.

2.2 I am working overseas, can the print version of The Edge Malaysia be delivered to my location overseas if I were to subscribe to a package that includes the print version?

The print version of The Edge Malaysia can be delivered to addresses outside Malaysia. Delivery charges will apply.

2.3 Can I cancel my subscription package?

All subscriptions plans are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

2.4 If I am travelling and am away for a period of time, can I temporarily suspend my subscription? Would I get an extension on my subscription for the period suspended?

The subscription plans cannot be suspended and extended.However, if sufficient advance notice is provided, we can arrange for the delivery of the print version to be postponed until you are back from your travels. Please let us know at 2 weeks in advance before the scheduled delivery date(s).

3.1 How do I get the digital replica of The Edge Malaysia on my desktop/tablet/smartphone?

  1. Select the link based on the title you have subscribed
  2. Click the link and click on my profile icon profile-icon
  3. When prompted, enter your username (email address) and password. For new registered users, your password is the same as what you had used during registration.
  4. For existing subscribers, the password is defaulted to the same as per the current app. If you can’t recall your password, you can select on “Forgot your password” and a password change request will be sent to your registered email.
  5. Once validated, you can click on the cover to read issues or the pullouts. You can also use the date function to read past issues within your subscription period.
  6. Please note that for desktop, the reader is web based. Which means it is direct streaming and you would need internet connection to stream and read issues.

  3. Click OK when prompted to allow app to send you notifications

3.2 What should I do if I forget my password?

You can click on forgot password from My Profile and an email to reset password will be sent to your registered email account. Alternatively, you can also contact our Customer Service Hotline – email: hotline@bizedge.com or call (603) 7721 8052/8037/8050.

3.3 What should I do if I purchase a new tablet and want my digital access moved from my old tablet to the new tablet?
